We are happy to announce that the research paper “The LDBC Financial Benchmark: Transaction Workload” by Shipeng Qi et al. received the Best Experiment, Analysis & Benchmark Paper Runner-Up Award at VLDB 2025.

The paper describes the design and implementation of the LDBC Financial Benchmark (FinBench). The paper will be presented at VLDB on September 4 (Thursday) in the “Research 60” session (Westminster 4F room) between 3:45pm and 5:15pm.

The Financial Benchmark (FinBench) project aims to define a graph database evaluating benchmark and develop a data generation process and a query driver to make the evaluation of the graph database representative, reliable and comparable, especially in financial scenarios, such as anti-fraud and risk control.
